Note: Sorry for the picture quality on some of these! Most of them are cell phone pics on the way to pre- school:)
What can I say about this little girl that I haven’t said before? She is such a special, sparkly, sassy, bundle of energy. She loves dressing up, loves accessories, loves figuring out what she wants to wear.
90% of the time she has complete control over what she has on. As long as it is weather/age appropriate I let her pick out whatever. Most of time it is okay, she tends to get real matchy- matchy (all one color) or likes to re wear the same outfit (her black leotard, always.) Other times the things she picks are real….interesting.
She gets obsessed with items in her closet and wears them to death. I am aware as I write this that I could be talking about myself here. The apple really doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Her biggest loves right this minute are princess dresses and crowns. Other than school, she can wear them out of the house if she wants. With a sweater. Which she rips off immediately and walks through a restaurant with her skirt held in her hands like a Queen entering a ball.
Oh! The eye rolling, too! Did you know four year old little girls have major attitude? I didn’t either. I naively thought this wouldn’t happen until the tween years, but I was so wrong. She tries to get away with that, and the deep sigh like I am ripping all the fun out of her life, and the slamming doors! She tried, but mama shut it down. Can we discuss how much trouble this one may be in her teen years? Don’t worry though…I’m on it. She doesn’t realize that I will be that mom who will ride her back all the way to college. Which she will be attending.
Oh yes, I have dreams for this little one. She is special and all mine. Love her.
