Oh! I almost forgot! Don’t forget to come back and link up your military inspired looks tomorrow (and all week.) This can be anything that reminds you of military style, creating a look with your personal style in mind is the key. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
All decorations are from TJ Maxx.
Have I mentioned that decorating my mantle has been sort of a challenge for me? I’ve been trying out different options and have come pretty close to what may be the final look. I’ve been looking to add a felt flag banner or tassel garland to the front. We shall see.
P.S. The plants in the orange and yellow pots are FAKE, as I kill everything in sight.
I’m having a gold jewelry moment and really like wearing multiple rings on my right hand, usually all is from Forever 21 or some equally cheap/chic establishment. My wedding rings are often changed as well, most of my “engagement” rings are from QVC. I mean, I can never settle with just one look forever, right? I like options!
Obsessing over olive green, plum and pumpkin colored polish for Fall. I swear, the second September hits I can’t even look at anything summer elated, and that includes all my mint and hot pink polish. I am a pick up polish at Walmart kind of girl and find it is one of the easiest ways to look pulled together and current . Just add polish! And then keep it on till it either all chips off in three weeks or I get a manicure. Whichever comes first.
I loveeeeeee planners and blank notebooks. The organization and places to create lists (and cross items out when done!) They are an dream come true for a gal like me who has to write stuff down or else it escapes my mind within four seconds. My planner is from Level and Lace and is small enough to tote around and large enough to create plenty of notes and to do’s.
My amazing, Ryan Gosling blank journal/notebook was a birthday gift from my sister in law. She sure knows the way to my heart.
According to my Pinterest account and my daily wardrobe choices, I am currently obsessed with wearing my basics. Daily. Is it because ripped, boyfriend jeans look good with everything? Or am I becoming lazy and need to step out of my comfort zone a bit? I’m sort of assuming that having a style blog and wearing the same clothes day in and day out is a no no.
How about you, have you had a fun weekend? My kids start school TOMORROW. My oldest will be in Kindergarten and my youngest will go to preschool twice a week. All day. Can we say, FREEDOM? I can’t figure out if I will cry and be sad or run out of the school at 9am and do cartwheels. Stay tuned.
