Wearing Bellami Hair extensions.
I wore this sassafras dress last Friday night when I went on the most perfect date night ever. There’s this little Italian restaurant in the bottom of an old building down the street from my house that is inside of an old brick building and has really fun nooks and crannies. (It’s also in the same complex where I take almost all of my photo’s, a goldmine of interesting buildings and textures.) It has this cozy and romantic vibe, all with a massive wine cellar (holla!) and it smells like freshly baked bread and pasta made from scratch. YUM. Have you ever been out to eat and everything you order is so good that you contemplate licking the plate when you are done? It was to die for. Then we went to this little cider bar downtown that was sort of a total hipster haven, but they had 3,837 types of cider and they had a sampler tray where it looks like Angry Orchard went and filled up 16 glasses of cider all for us. In sampler sizes of course, because this mama has zero alcohol tolerance.
Can I stop a second and give a shout out to my husband? He’s always game to stop on the side of the road and take a zillion photos with my phone and my camera on a date night. He is my heart and supports this blog of mine like no other. I met this man 14 years ago when we were in college and have seen so much together and grown up together and I adore him. I may have to keep him around:)
Let’s stop the mushy stuff now and get into more important stuff…like shopping! I discovered Choies when they sent me this dress last month and I was so impressed with the quality and feel of it. Here are some things I have been lusting over on their site lately…
A skirt with black and white stripes! Obsessed. And another one, in vertical stripes. I think I may have a striped clothing problem?
The most perfect cool weather LBD, with faux leather sleeves!
I really, really want a pink winter coat.
This red midi dress reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in the best way possible.
Love this encrusted collar necklace, how cute would it look over a simple, gray, fitted sweatshirt?
These sunglasses look like Nicole Ritchie to me. Thoughts?
I’m thinking I need a pair of checked trousers this season.
The lace trim on the bottom of this sweater is really pretty and feminine.
A vintage chiffon panel cardi in kelly green!
Loving the cutout and the mustard color of this lace top…great for date night with slim black pants and ankle boots.
Finally, this floral dress looks retro and modern to me at the same time, love!
Tell me, which is your favorite pick from above? Have you shopped at Choies before?
On a random note, I want to add that while the dress above was sent to me for free, this post is all my own doing and was not paid for. When it comes to posting reviews and shopping suggestions, I take this seriously and don’t recommend companies that I wouldn’t shop at or buy from myself. My readers mean a lot to me and I think long and hard before accepting products. If I don’t like something I WILL tell you, I promise. I may wear a piece of clothing sometimes and label it c/o, this means I received it for free. Sometimes this is for the link only (shown in photos in a lifestyle post) where I receive no monetary compensation besides the item, and sometimes it is editorial content and is presented in a post that has been paid for. I will always disclose which type of post it is.
Thank you for supporting me and the companies that take a chance in this blog. I love finding new places to shop and I know you do, too. Happy weekend, friends!
