Old Navy tee; Kohl’s jeans; Target shoes, bag and necklace (similar, but more expensive); UO hat (similar); c/o Chloe and Isabel bracelets; Fossil watch (similar.)
Is it just me or is every pair of pants out there made with crazy whiskering around the crotch and weird lighter patches? I mean, I adore a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans and funky patterns, but sometimes I just want to have a pair of dark wash, boot cut jeans. Which I think I forgot about? I’m a die hard skinny jeans fan, but let’s be honest, they don’t always look amazing with everything. It’s all smoke and mirrors with those things and I like to treat them like leggings and almost always wear a long top with them. Long story short, I went into Kohl’s last week to check out what was new and found these jeans immediately. I adore Lauren Conrad’s line there and head straight for it, always. She just has great pieces that are classic, yet different? So anyway, my love for a dark wash, bootcut jean has been rekindled. I ended up trying on a ton of stuff (the kids were in school! I was free!) and thought I’d link what I looked at and what I thought.
This polka dot blouse was really fun and had a slightly longer length, but not too long. I would love to see it with either black skinny jeans and fun heels (red?) or the jeans I have on above with boots. Maybe even belted over a pencil skirt? I would size up on this as I like a top like this to be a little slouchy.
This cardigan was a great length (covers the bum!) and I loved the chiffon detail at the bottom.
I tried on this bow print sweater and kind of wish I had bought it! You could wear it fitted with a skirt or go up a size with black jeans and biker boots.
A cute little heart print sweater!
I have this blazer in black and it is the perfect, non stuffy blazer. (And I hate blazers, so that says a lot about this one.)
I tried this sweatshirt on and loved the print, but it was completely unlined and see through. Weird? I can’t stand stuff that requires another purchase to make it work. Great sweater/sweatshirt, annoying construction.
Lastly, I didn’t see this there when I went, but I LOVE the sheer, polka dot sleeves of this dress. Pretty and feminine and Taylor Swift like, don’t you think?
Tell me, do you like Lauren Conrad’s line at Kohl’s? Is there any other brand I should check out there?
P.S. I’m going out to dinner tonight for our anniversary (!) and wearing this dress. It makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn in it. Love.
