The idea for the above style, here.
I wash my hair only about twice a week, so probably four days out of the seven it looks good enough to be down, and the other three I either need to wear a hat or be more adventurous with my hair. (My hair has that awesome tendency to be oily on the roots and dry at the ends. Lovely.) Since I am no hair expert and really enjoy something quick and simple, I wanted to share the looks and styles I currently love and use. Trust me. If I can do these, you can do these;)
I love this headband tuck tutorial because it can be done on dirty hair and really is so simple. I like to do it with a headband worn boho style across my forehead, and then tuck the ends in along the sides and back, pulling out a couple face framing layers in front.
This braided ponytail is fun because it changes up the average pulled back look and is a bit different from the typical braided bang. Also, the tips in her videos are always really helpful and the directions are clear and easy!
While I’ve only tried this casual falling braid out on my daughter, it was so much for easier than it looked and is a great, half up/half down style with a twist.
I’m a sucker for braids, so when I saw this half braided crown I instantly loved how loose and undone it felt. Plus, it felt different taking hair a bit farther back in the hairline than the traditional braided style.
Lastly, I know this mini topknot isn’t an actual tutorial, but I think it is pretty self explanatory and is a fun little look to try.
Tell me, do you have any go to/ fun and simple hair styles you like to rock?
