Old Navy tee; Target jeans and tote, old (similar); Converse sneakers; Curious Creatures turquoise necklace.
All of a sudden another week has flown by and I’ve somehow managed to stay out of all my favorite stores for a good solid ten days now (cue pink glitter thrown in the air.) I went on a little spending splurge last month and managed to pick up some really great pieces that I think YOU would love, too. I’m a big browser and try-er on-et (like my new made up words?!), so I’ll let you know what I saw, what I loved, and how it all fits if it’s relevant. Let’s go!
I bought three pairs of pants at Old Navy last month, a camo pair, a faded denim pair, and a really light pair of nearly white denim. I tried on the Rockstar fit and found that when I sized up one size they fit great. I like that they have a bit of stretch and that they have a bit of a higher waist. I don’t know about you, but I despise feeling like my pants are sliding down my bum on an hourly basis.
Note: when I get my jeans home I cuff them to the length I want (lower ankle), then cut the ends off with scissors and wash them for optimal fray. I like that this gives me a customizable length and is more flattering than cuffing them.
I’ve mentioned this in my post from a couple of days ago, but I love a great, slouchy tee. Old Navy has a vintage wash tee right now that, when bought a couple of sizes up, fits just perfectly. I’m wearing the white above and also have one is gray. I really want a black one.
I bought these d’orsay knock off flats in red and adore them. They also had an amazing snakeskin pair that I was eying, too. I think they would make a great work shoe if you need something dressy and flat, but look equally amazing with jeans and a tee.
I have bought workout clothes at Old Navy before and really like the quality. My favorite are these capri leggings and this style of workout tank. Comfortable and cute!
I picked up this printed maxi dress at Target a couple of weeks ago and adore it (last worn HERE), it is so soft and comfortable and look great on its own or with a cardigan. I want more colors;)
These overall shorts will be MINE.
Every time I pass by this Geo print tote I want to take it home, but for some reason haven’t yet. I love how current it looks, but still has a great price tag.
These are the most perfect simple brown sandals for Summer.
Target always has the best fold over maxi skirts and I always end up buying a couple each year. I love wearing mine with a slouchy tank (half tucked in), and some kind of headband. It’s my go to Summer look.
Hope you have a GREAT weekend, friends! We are going to enjoy the appearance of SPRING and wander around without jackets. (Finally.)
