Happy Tuesday, ladies (and Dad;) I just enjoyed a glorious two week long staycation with my in law family and it was so nice to unplug for a bit and just live, but I am so excited to be back for the What She Wears link up!
One of my favorite ways to dress is to take a dressier piece and pair it with very un-dressy pieces. This way of dressing works for my lifestyle, because I really don’t have a lot to dress up for. I’m a mama of two young children and I stay at home with them. Besides the occasional date night, I tend to wear things that are comfortable and easy for trips to the grocery store, the farmer’s market, the library, etc. While this look is a bit dresser than normal, it’s still feels like ME.
I recently bought these wedges from Shoemint last month and they are really comfortable. They have that clog feel that I have been crushing over, yet have a lower heel height that doesn’t stop me from doing what I need to do during my day. I really love how versatile they are and how they give a casual vibe to the (faux) leather skirt. They have been on a constant rotation this Summer when it comes to getting dressed, and I would even wear them in the Fall with a pair of tights. (I also love wearing them with a kimono!)
Now it’s YOUR TURN to show off your favorite wedges! Link up below (the link up is open for the week!), and go ahead and visit the other links (that’s networking, folks!)
My co hosts and I will all pick our faves and showcase your style on social media when the link up is over. Now what are you waiting for, link up below!
P.S. Don’t forget to check out The Red Closet Diary, Just Dawnelle, Run Style Run, and Mommy in Heels for their WEDGE looks.
Oh! and HERE is an example of how the link up works!
