℅ In Bloom Boutique Piko top; Target jeans (love this ripped option) and shoes (exact); Old Navy bag (option); necklace, old (similar.)
There’s gotta be something to be said for a top that can be worn with jeans and (love these!) peep toe booties, then also work later with denim cutoffs and sandals for an impromptu pedi, and then finally, over a pair of yoga pants curled up on the couch at night with a glass of wine and some good old fashioned (and trashy!), reality tv.
Here’s the thing. Are long tunic tops the holy grail of dressing, or is it just me? I love wearing skinny jeans, yet my hips call for a longer top to sort of give that smoke and mirror effect of a “oh my gosh, look how good I look,” mental thought when I look in the mirror each morning. I just feel BETTER in something a bit looser, a bit longer, and something that feels like pajamas, yet looks pulled together.
I’ve heard of piko tops before, yet for some reason never pulled the trigger on getting one. And now I know I’ve been missing out! A word to the wise on piko tops. They are BIG. As in, you need to size way down and you will have plenty of room. I typically wear a medium in shirts and when the medium came I was swimming in it. The one I’m wearing above is a small and I was pleased with the fit and feel of it.
In Bloom Boutique has been kind enough to offer a $40 giftcard to my readers so that you can get a chance to pick out something for yourself. (Yay!) I personally would love to get this mustard and black striped baseball tee tunic, this piko dress in chocolate, or this elbow patch gray striped long cardigan.
You can enter below for the giveaway, or you can use the code JACKIE15 for 15% off anything on the In Bloom Boutique site! Good luck;)
