When it comes to jewelry in the summer I don’t really wear that much of it! I tend to pick a few daintier pieces for daily wear, and then if we go out somewhere I like one bolder piece to jazz up a really simple outfit. We go to the beach A LOT in the summer and I rarely wear any jewelry there. With the sand and multiple applications of sunblock it just gets in the way, so off it goes.
I was looking through my photos the other day though, and started to see a trend of what I’ve been wearing on repeat lately, and what I pull out when I want go somewhere special. The first thing I noticed (and you may, too, if you look carefully at all my posts), is this Baublebar constellation bracelet set.
I. Wear. Them. All. The. Time.
I love the way they look bold and fun on my wrist, yet they don’t feel heavy and cumbersome. I also happen to love anything with a sun and moon motif on it, and these bracelets fit that to a T;) I’ve had them a couple of months and they have held up really nicely. No scratches or dings, and the color has not faded or scratched off. #winning
I bought both these necklaces in the beginning of the summer and I love how they really add some FUN to an outfit. I’ve worn them to a lot of places, from book club to a beer tent at a festival (ha!), to a wedding in June. They are amazing quality, with REAL leather tassels, and I know I can use them to update a plain look for work in the Fall, as well as a basic black sundress this summer.
I’ve been trying out the jewelry subscription services, Rocksbox, this summer, and it has been a lot of fun! I really enjoy the surprise aspect of getting an unknown set of three pieces to try out and wear, and I like that I can either purchase the pieces if I love them OR send them back. You can set up a profile for yourself on the site and build a wish list, that way your stylist can get a feel for what you like. I tend to like smaller, daintier jewelry pieces and wear mostly bracelets and necklaces. This month I adored the Gorjana zigzag cuff above, and the simple gold bar necklace. I do think some of the pieces can be a bit pricier than I would normally spend, but if I do love something and think I will wear it often I would splurge a bit, but it really is fun to try it all out while I think about it!

A month or so ago I was contacted by Jes from I am Jes about her amazingly minimal (yet really fun and wearable!) bracelet sets. I clicked on over to her site and loved the simplicity of her designs and immediately said yes. They arrived in the mail and I have not really taken them off since! They are made with fine silk thread, real silver and turquoise beads, and have the coolest skull detail on the closure. They can be adjusted to any wrist size (my daughter snagged one of mine and wears it all the time!), and can be worn together or separately. I love how they are so dainty, yet they are eye catching and easy to wear. I was beyond impressed by these and cannot say enough about them.
Note: I’m not forced to say anything here or on social media when I receive a product to review or try out, and only do so when I love it. I tend to not say something more than I do, so hopefully that says something about my feelings about these bracelets.
Finally, I continued on my tassel hoarding collection (!) and got these set of 5 tassel bracelets earlier this summer. I love that this bracelet set looks sort of like a party on my hand, and that I can wear all five or just a couple at a time (like above.) The only interesting thing about wearing them is that they can dip into your food when you are eating and you could get salad dressing all over the white one…just sayin’.
Ha;)
Tell me, what jewelry have YOU been wearing on repeat this summer?
