Forever 21 coat, old (so similar! so cute!); Free People sweater and ruffled tunic; Rebecca Minkoff Regan tote; Target boots.
I’ve always admired the aesthetics of Free People from afar, but never bought anything from them until a year or so ago. Because let’s face it, they aren’t cheap and if you are like me and save your pennies, buying expensive clothing is hard. So I’ve saved up and bought a piece or two when I could, and saved my love for extensive website lust and Pinterest drooling. I tend to use my blog income for buying lust worthy pieces (a way to motivate me to work hard, and also as a reward for being a #girlboss!,) so I look a lot more than I tend to buy.
(Note: How I make money blogging, HERE.)
Here’s the thing about Free People: the sizes run pretty big (I wear an x-small or a small depending on the item), and if you browse on FreePeople.com you can often see social media shots of real women wearing the clothes (love that!), and Nordstrom often has great deals on Free People merchandise. I have never been disappointed by an item, but also read reviews and avoid clothes that need high maintenance or wouldn’t be practical for my life. My first purchase was this lace trimmed ruffle tunic, which I constantly wear under sweaters and tops, or on it’s own in the warmer months. I want more colors! It was worth every penny.
Here is what I am loving at Free People, right now!
I own this Drape Drape sweater and adore it. It is so warm and cozy, and the way it moves is really fun. I would buy it in every color if I could.
I love a basic white top that can be worn a million ways. Here is a 3/4 sleeve option (have it!), as well as a short sleeve one (need it!)
I think it is really hard to find a great fitting (and cozy!) cardigan, and this Dreamy Day cardi looks amazing.
I can’t figure out if I want this Winding Ivy Pullover in Gray or Brown, but it sure does look warm and delicious;)
This Tree Swing tunic top in mustard has the prettiest detail in the front, very unique and fun!
I’m also loving the antique gold color (and the look!) of this Poppy Fields Forever dress.
This Secret Origins Pieced Lace tunic (in black) has been on back order for me for a month (ugh!) I can’t wait to it ships!
I have this We the Free Free Falling Tee in black, and it is so soft and drapey! I would get this in multiple colors.
The sweater I have in two colors (blush pink and black!)
Tell me, do you have anything from Free People?
