I don’t know about you, but I need cute workout wear added into my closet on a semi regular basis to keep me inspired. It gives me that certain something I need to get myself together and go to the gym, when often enough this time of year I’d rather be anywhere else. (#firstworldproblems) While I do switch up between home workouts and the actual gym, I almost always feel better when I am wearing something that I feel (and look) good in, no matter where I am.
The two places I shop at for workout clothes are Old Navy and Fabletics. We all know Old Navy, but in case you haven’t heard about Fabletics, it is a fitness wear company started by Kate Hudson and they have the best stuff. You sign up and take a quick quiz and each month they give you a curated group of outfits they think you will love. You can shop the whole line, too, but often enough they are pretty spot on with their selections. They do sort of swindle you in with their “first outfit is only $25” deal (because their outfits generally run for about $60 for a complete outfit after that first one (which does get you 2-3 quality pieces!), but I’m okay with that. They have great promotions sometimes, they ship quickly, and I’ve never had a problem shopping there. I have found that the quality is SO GOOD, as well as the actual outfits being really cool and unique, that this is worth it. I have bought about 6 complete workout looks at Fabletics and have never been disappointed. I am particularly in love with their workout leggings. They are so soft! They also fit really well with no bagging at the knees. I am addicted. I always get compliments when I wear my Fabletics stuff, and who doesn’t want that?
I currently love this black and camo option, this cross back yoga option, and this strappy top option.
P.S. This is not sponsored, I just love Fabletics! Go HERE to sign up, you won’t regret it;)
When it comes to Old Navy I think they have the best tops that can be added in at a low cost when you need something fresh but don’t want to spend a lot. I love how a lot of their tops are a looser fit, and they have the longer length I prefer. I never feel bad when I get bored of these tanks in a couple of months or so, because they are often so inexpensive. I recently bought this simple black top (I love the higher neckline), and this “train like a beast” tank. I DO find Old Navy workout gear to be more disposable, it just doesn’t hold up all that well, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Old Navy also has great sports bras! I find the coverage and fit is great, and they give me great support. My favorite is this style in black, because it then goes with everything.
Finally, I am currently looking for a new workout sneakers. I have a pair of these sneakers right now and I don’t love them. They actual took a long time to break in (I had numbness in my toes for a bit when wearing them?), and they were pricey. I have had two pairs of Ryka sneakers in the past and LOVED them, but thought I would ask YOU for suggestions first!
Tell me, what are your favorite place(s) to her workout gear? Any good sneaker suggestions?
