Free People dress; Target wedges; Blank nye faux leather jacket; Old Navy sunglasses (similar.)
I’ve been stalking this dress online, both on Shopbop and Nordstrom for about a month now. I always hem and haw over expensive items of clothing (which for me means anything over, say, $40), and it takes me a long time to actually pull the trigger when buying! I’ve been working on buying more quality things that will last more than one season in my closet, and I thought this dress would fit the bill. I like that it was black, and the cutout detail added some fun (and a little sexiness!) to an otherwise simple look. It can be worn with the shoulders up OR down, something I love. It’s versatile! I would wear it with heels and a statement necklace on a date with my love, or with simple sandals and a tote running errands with my kids.
I’ve really been loving the off the shoulder trend for Spring/Summer. I also purchased this ruffle top (now on sale), and this striped Target dress. It’s been slooooowly getting warmer around here and it makes me so happy to know that Spring is right around the corner!
P.S. Nordstrom is price matching right now, which means a lot of my fave Free People items are on sale! I bought this ruffle tunic (which I have in white, worn here) in black, and this lace tunic (which I have in black, worn here!), in white! Now mama needs to sell some shampoo to pay for this shopping habit!
