Free People band tee; American Eagle flare jeans; Old Navy sunglasses (in store); Rebecca Minkoff Regan satchel (on sale!); Stella and Dot Sahara pendant necklace and Engraved bar necklace.
One of the best things about my kids being in school full time now is that sometimes my husband has a night shift at work and we get unexpected little day dates. On this day we went out to breakfast together, at the cutest little restaurant with real brick walls and vintage details. The coffee was never ending, and the food delicious! I’m not really a breakfast person (I prefer to snack more during the day and have a bigger dinner!), but having the time to go out for a meal with my love is a treat and worth the meal. We then took a break so I could take these photos (thank you Traverse City and your never ending supply of pretty walls and abandoned buildings!), then went shopping for a foundation mattress for our Sleep Number bed. I mean, nothing exciting, just ordinary errands that seem just a little bit more fun with each other.
I wore these jeans for him, too! He is not a fan of skinny jeans (too bad, I adore them), so I figured I’d wear them. I purchased these at American Eagle a couple of weeks ago and loved the price point AND the fit. As long as you are willing to try on a few sizes outside of your comfort zone, the jeans at both American Eagle and Old Navy are pretty great. I keep pinning a whole lot of flared jean outfits on my Pinterest style board and knew as soon as I saw these that I would have to buy them.
As for this thermal band tee, I stalked it at Free People months ago, it went out of stock and recently came back in. I like that I can wear it casually like above, I could dress it up with ripped black jeans and heels for night, or I can throw it on over my bathing suit and cutoff shorts this summer. I feel like I keep splurging on tops at Free People lately, but I love them! The quality and fit is so great I just can’t stop myself. Luckily I have a great side job that pays for my habit, ha!
