AE top, ON SALE (I sized up to a medium) and AE Tomgirl jeans (wearing size 4, one size down from typical in this brand); Target sandals.
Hey! I’m back at this style blogging thing! It’s been awhile, my friends. Mostly because I don’t really get dressed that often besides gym clothes for day and sweatpants at night. And it’s been cold and yucky and who even wants to try when it is an arctic tundra out there? NOT. ME.
However, spring has sprung. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and even some 70 degree days here and there. And while I still mostly only wear workout clothes Monday-Friday, I do have some cute new things I pop into on the weekends for dinners out and errands and such. This top was a recent buy that I wanted to bring along to Vegas (and I did!) I love the off the shoulder styling and the pretty flutter sleeves make me quite happy, too. The airy, seersucker type material will be awesome for those steamy southern summers I’m about to experience again when we move to Alabama. Bring it!
I’ll style these with ripped jeans like above, and cutoffs as it gets warmer. These jeans are a current fave. I realize they look kind of sloppy hair and really distressed, but I FEEL really cool in them, and isn’t that what counts? I’m trying to dress more for me and what I feel good in, and not worrying so much about how others view me or how I’m supposed to look. I just really love the relaxed look and feel and really love them with a swing tank and sandals.
My style is really, really simple right now. Minimal accessories, simple shapes, and not a lot of fuss. I’m still kind of finding my style as of late, but this top is pretty spot on for what I see myself becoming. I tend to go one of two ways, either all black and edgy with studded gladiator sandals, or super simple, and a little boho with cutoffs and kimonos.
I’m working on more style posts for you guys! I have requests for affordable styles and looks and I also plan on doing some more fitness related posts and basically just anything that takes ahold of my brain and asks to be written.
AND, ignore my hair color, ha. It’s in phase one of a process. And it looks not this drastic in person. Maybe;)
