If there is one thing you can count on, it’s the fact that I probably have about ten online carts filled to the brim at all times. Now do I buy all this stuff? No. But I love searching, reading reviews, and making lists of what I really want/need/don’t need but want anyway (lol.) I’m way less impulsive than I used to be when it comes to buying stuff. I’ll admit to some quick purchases (this rainbow dress from Target, BECAUSE: RAINBOWS), but for the most part I really ponder stuff for a long time before buying.
LONG STORY SHORT! Here are three things I’ve consciously bought lately, and loved…
If you read any blogs ever, you have seen posts about Colleen Rothschild beauty. I’ve read them, I’ve searched the site, and I have thought about it for some time. I love having really nice and decadent skin care items. While I swear on my Rosehip oil from Amazon, I don’t mind spending extra on beauty products. I’ve been eyeing the cleansing balm after reading the reviews on her site and multiple blog posts from bloggers I trust. I also was in the market for a face cream, and thought I’d dive in when she had her 25% off of 2 products promo a couple of weeks ago. You guys, I got them both in and I’ve been using them for a week and I am obsessed. The cleansing balm is EVERYTHING. My skin feels like butter after. You use the tiniest amount ever, rub into between your palms then rub on your dry fave and wipe off with a warm, wet cloth. It is worth every penny. I also got the Sheer Renewal cream, which I layer over the rosehip oil and I love that, too! I am now looking at this serum to add to my collection. Her products come in sizes that make you feel like you got something for the money you spent, too. No disappointment over tiny little bottles for money spent here (I hate that.) She is currently running a promo for 20% off all products, so if you want to try it out (I’d start with this kit), now is perfect with a discount.
Speaking of decadent products, I read a blog post from another trusted blogger (see a theme here? Ha), and saw she used this rose conditioner. I loved that you could buy a travel size and thought I’d try it out. You guys, it is so good! It makes my hair so silky and soft, it’s ridiculous. It has a strong rose scent, but it doesn’t stay in the hair (I don’t like mixing a lot of scents.) I’m going to purchase the regular size after trying it out, and may even try out the shampoo. I also use Alterna Caviar Replenishing Moisture conditioner and swap back and forth, they are both really great.
Finally, I bought this red Free People set a couple of months ago and I am waiting for a special occasion to wear it. I love it so much! Maybe for my 38th bday in August? I envision a twirling on the beach photoshoot coming…;)
And now three things I am THISCLOSE to purchasing…
I love Urban Outfitter’s and the dresses they come out with each summer. This wrap dress in white is something I can see myself wearing often.
I love a flowy tank over cutoffs, and this Free People one looks so cute!
This sparkly, low cut (yikes), sequin dress from Hello Molly fits approximately 0% of my life, but damn it! I WILL find an occasion to wear it. Just look how beautiful it looks on Caitlin. All the heart eyes.
