Happy March, friends! Unlike January which I think crawled by, February went by so fast! I think since my daughter’s birthday is in February, it makes the month fly by. We actually call it “birthday week” in our house because our kids’ birthdays just seem to keep going and going. Between family parties, a meal out, Grandma in town, treats for her friends at school, it is definitely a drawn out celebration lol. And now she’s eleven! Which is crazy and unbelieveable and deserves another post for another day on the ups and downs of parenting a TWEEN. #sendhelp
Let’s get into a small recap of how I did with my February intentions, shall we?
I learned in January that I had to scale waaaaaay back when making these intentions. It is so much easier to keep up with a few things rather than too many. I do have more daily goals and routines I follow when it comes to how I spend my time, but I love the larger goals as well. In February (you can read that post HERE) I wanted to finish my Simplified Closet e-course (a guide on starting a Capsue Wardrobe!), I wanted to host a Stella + Dot party at my house, and I wanted to continue my journal and meditation routine in the mornings. And I did all of these! I think the scariest one was hosting the jewelry party, because as an introvert that stuff can make me SO NERVOUS, but I am really working on being more uncomfortable this year and doing things that I wouldn’t normally do.
I also found that by setting a deadline on finishing my course that lit a fire under me. I finished it all in the last week because I knew I had to check back here and tell you guys if I did it or not. I work well with deadlines and extreme procrastination lol. Now let’s get into my intentions for March…
My March Intentions!
- Now that I have written my Capsule Wardrobe e-course, I need to test it out with a couple of my style newsletter subscribers, and then get it all prettied up by my graphic designer, then figure out when to launch it. Eeeeek! Another goal that makes me so nervous, but I have been planning this for so long it is amazing to see it come together. I am so passionate about this e-course and how it simplifies everything about how we get dressed each day, without the rules and rigidity of a traditional capsule wardrobe that tends to be really popular. You can sign up for first dibs on this course HERE, and get a special discount, too!
- My biggest ongoing goal this year is to grow my email list. Serving this list has become a huge passion of mine! I truly love creating free content for my tribe inside my TWO newsletters. One caters to those that love style and shopping, and the other is a Health + Wellness newsletter that covers personal growth and development. I equally love them both, and most of my attention goes to my folks who have trusted me with their email. I host giveaways where only people that subscribe to my newsletters can win, and right now I’m doing a free 6 week course on How to Change Your Life. You can sign up for that HERE. My intention is to serve my subscribers well and spoil them!
- Lastly, I am doing a Spartan Race this month with some friends from the gym and I just want to go out there and have FUN. This race is 8-10 miles with obstacles and is the big, uncomfortabe thing I signed up for after completing my 1/2 marathon in December. Again, working on being UNCOMFORTABLE this year so I can grow and not be stagnant and so routine.
Tell me, what are your intentions for March?
