Happy Monday, friends! I’ve been sharing my daily looks over on Instagram (in stories, it is so much fun over there lol!) and daily on Facebook under the hashtag #meagangetsdressed and it has been so motivating, and I wanted to put my weekly looks in one place for you. I’ve basically challenged myself to get dressed most days, because I have found that I feel my best when I make an effort to look nice, even if most days I am either working from home, or out and about with my kids and husband running errands or going to endless sports practices;)
I’ve been documenting my daily looks on video, and adding them into my Shop My Looks page here each day. You can click on each picture there and there are links to each piece I am wearing. I update it every single day. It is really easy! I also show all outfits in my Instastories each day if you like to see it live each day. These are truly outfits I am wearing in my real life, and in real-time.
I’m all about easy, comfortable looks. If I like something, I rewear it a TON, and I hope I can bring you inspiration if you need some help with outfit ideas. If you are looking for even more style inspo, I have a weekly style newsletter that goes out every Sunday morning and it is probably my favorite thing to write right now. Come join the fun!
This week my weekly looks are a little different, as we spent the past week visiting family in Jacksonville, Florida and had a little day trip to the Kennedy Space Center and a night in Daytona. Something I have learned about packing, I NEVER wear as much as I bring! I tend to wear the simplest of outfits and rewear things, too. I am a very basic traveler in that I like to wear only my tried and true favorites. We were also with family, so I just dress very simply and casually!
P.S. Stay tuned below for a really amazing free resource for you that will help you get dressed easier each day.
Let’s get into the outfits I wore and some of my favorite pieces to travel with! And stay tuned for a packing post later this week…

This day was so much fun, mainly because I got to go to my favorite outdoor shopping mall and try on a bunch of clothes from stores I rarely get to shop in! My husband and I had the morning and afternoon to ourselves (thanks to Grandparents!), and it was so much fun. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I am wearing my favorite things here (in the Free People store, no less;) I own this tank in 4 colors (the best basic tank), these shorts are the best midi length shorts EVER, and I am obsessed with this kimono. Oh, and these Steve Madden sandal dupes are under $20…
My tote is from last year, but I found a super similar version HERE! Also wearing these set of three Essential Hammered Cuffs (only $39!) and this Kari 2-1 necklace.

My in laws live near the beach, so we tried to go for an hour or so with the kids as much as we could. Fun fact, we actually lived in Jacksonvile for 5 years, and my son was born there, so it feels like home again when we visit! I’m wearing an adorable rainbow bikini from Target that is currently on sale! It is one of the rare Target bathing suits that fits me well, I just size up usually in their suits. I am wearing a medium in both top and bottom and it is really fun to wear. Also, this kimono works as an amazing coverup!
For jewelry, I knew I’d love the Julia Coin pendant with bathing suits, it also layers so nicely with this Delicate Petal necklace. And these Petal hoops (only $39!) in gold were my MVP earrings for the trip. I packed a couple pairs of earrings and only wore these. They went with everything. You can shop my Stella & Dot jewelry faves HERE!

I bought this dress when I went shopping in American Eagle and LOVED IT. I think I actually owned something similar back in 1991 lol. The babydoll fit, the pattern, all I needed was a choker necklace and some Doc Marten’s and I’d be living my teenage dream;)
P.S. Still obsessed with these Sole Society espradrilles!

We drove down to the Kennedy Space Center one day with the kids and my in laws and spent the day exploring. It was a gorgeous day and I wanted to be really comfortable for the drive and a day of walking. Funny enough, I brought 3 colors of this tank to switch things up and only wore the gray! And I’ve spoken before about my love for these jeans, they are perfection. The color, the rips, the fit, I am obsessed. Size up one if you are between sizes, they start out tight but loosen up a lot.
I brought this cardigan for going in an out of air conditioning, and it saved my life!

More fun at the beach! I wore this rainbow bikini top and bottom again, and an old cover up (that I actaully wear as a nightgown, too….) Target comes out with these every year and I typically buy 1or 2 each season. They are so simple to throw on and are very comfortable. Plus, they transition to other places, too, if you are heading to a casual beachside restaurant, or you have to stop on the way (though the white is sheer and a little see through!) I usually size up to a medium or a large so I have room to breathe.

This was our last night and we had dinner with my in laws at their community where they live. This dress is a tried and true favorite of mine! It can be dressed up or down and I always feel beautiful in it. Mine is two years old, but this one is almost identical! We did some impromtu family pics that night and my daughter had on a similar dress and it was fun to coordinate with her;)
