Happy Monday, friends! I’ve been sharing my daily looks over on Instagram (in stories, it is so much fun over there lol!) and daily on Facebook under the hashtag #meagangetsdressed and it has been so motivating, and I wanted to put my weekly looks in one place for you. I’ve basically challenged myself to get dressed most days, because I have found that I feel my best when I make an effort to look nice, even if most days I am either working from home, or out and about with my kids and husband running errands or going to endless sports practices;)
I’ve been documenting my daily looks on video, and adding them into my Shop My Looks page here each day. You can click on each picture there and there are links to each piece I am wearing. I update it every single day. It is really easy! I also show all outfits in my Instastories each day if you like to see it live each day. These are truly outfits I am wearing in my real life, and in real-time.
I’m all about easy, comfortable looks. If I like something, I rewear it a TON, and I hope I can bring you inspiration if you need some help with outfit ideas. If you are looking for even more style inspo, I have a weekly style newsletter that goes out every Sunday morning and it is probably my favorite thing to write right now. Come join the fun!
P.S. Stay tuned below for a really amazing free resource for you that will help you get dressed easier each day (i.e my outfit formula guide!)
This is what I wore for Mother’s Day last week, we literally only left the house once that day to buy a cake lol. This is my easiest uniform…a graphic tee + denim + simple sandals. I typically add some jewelry as well, but I wanted to put in zero effort that day and did!
Sizing details: I always size up to a large in these tops, as they are typically junior sizing and I don’t like tight things! This tee is cropped, so if you don’t like to show your stomach I’d wear higher waisted shorts/jeans or just skip this style. And these shorts are so good! They are a little shorter than my fave American Eagle midi shorts, but I suggest sizing up ONE for extra room. I typically wear a size 4 or a 6 and these are an 8.
This top and these jeans are a favorite of yours (and mine!), and a best seller out of all the things I show you each week, and for good reason! These jeans are everything, I love them so much. The color, the disressing, the fit, it all works. I also love this beautiful Abercrombie top, the lace details are gorgeous and it can be dressed up or down.
Also, these Anne fringe earrings are so awesome for summer with white top + denim outfits. They are lightweight and really easy to wear, too.
Sizing details: I am wearing a small in the top and it is true to size. It does fit more cropped, so pair with high waisted jeans if you don’t want to show your stomach. And these jeans fit pretty true to size, they go on tight but loosen up quickly. I typically wear a size 4 or 6 and these are a 6.
P.S. You can pair this bralette on under the top if you need a little more coverage in the chest area! I have it in black and white in a size medium, my bra size is a 34D and this bralette fits perfectly.
You guys, I have seriously worn this shirt maybe 2-3 times a week since it came in my May Trunk Club box. I love how it looks vintage, with some small holes and fading and distressing. It is also soft and feel like a dream on. I have worn it with a bunch of different things and it looks good with all of them!
Sizing details: This tee is a size small and fit true to size, not too tight and not too loose. These jeans are also true to size, I can wear a size 4 or a 6 and these are a 6. They loosen up considerably as you wear them.
This might be my favorite outfit of the week? I snagged this cute graphic tee when going into Target for toothpaste last week (!) and I’m freakin’ obsessed! #treatyoseltz Ha. Also wearing my most favorite shorts of the moment. They are midi length and seriously feel like leggings on, and they stay in place. These are my “mom” shorts, I can wear these to practices and pool parties and feel cute, yet appropriate in them. I like to wash them and air dry them and they feel like almost wearing pajama shorts. Also, I have yet to find an outfit where this kimono doesn’t make better;)
Again, wearing the Petal Hoops in gold.
Sizing details: I am wearing a large in the tank as it is junior sizing and I hate tight things. I am wearing a size 8 in the shorts (I typically wear a size 4 or a 6), so size up one. They fit tighter than traditional denim shorts (like the Abercrombie shorts above), so just be aware of that. The material is very stretchy and they move with you in the best way.
You sense a theme here, yes? Wearing one of my outfit formuals…a graphic tank/tee + denim + sandals. I swap out the jeans for cutoffs in the warmer months, or throw on a cardigan and a kimono on chillier days. I also wore these under $20 sandals every single day this week! They come in a bunch of different colors and are really comfotable and easy to wear.
And this macrame tote is from last year, I still love it so much. I wore it all last summer and I’ll do the same this summer. I love a tote bag as I carry my kids’ stuff and need the room, and this one is the perfect neutral shade. I found an almost identical one availabe from the same retailer HERE.
Sizing details: I’m wearing a size large in the tank as it is junior sizing and I like a looser fit. This tank is a bit more cropped, so be aware of that. These jeans are true to size, I wear a size 4 or a 6 and these are a size 6.
