Happy Monday, friends! I’ve been sharing my daily looks over on Instagram (in stories, it is so much fun over there lol!)It has been so motivating, and I wanted to put my weekly looks in one place for you. I’ve basically challenged myself to get dressed most days, because I have found that I feel my best when I make an effort to look nice, even if most days I am either working from home, or out and about with my kids and husband running errands or going to endless sports practices;)
I’ve been documenting my daily looks on video, and adding them into my Shop My Looks page here each day. You can click on each picture there and there are links to each piece I am wearing. I update it every single day. I also show all outfits in my Instastories each day if you like to see it live each day. These are truly outfits I am wearing in my real life, and in real-time.

I’m all about easy, comfortable looks. If I like something, I rewear it a TON, and I hope I can bring you inspiration if you need some help with outfit ideas. If you are looking for even more style inspo, I have a weekly style newsletter that goes out every Sunday morning and it is probably my favorite thing to write right now. Come join the fun!
Sizing references! I am 5’5″ tall, and wear a size 4-6 in pants, a small in tops, and a size 4 in dresses. I will let you know under each pic how something fits and the sizes I chose.
There is something about the ease and comfort of a black maxi dress that just makes me so happy! When the weather is SUPER CRAZY hot, when I am tired of wearing things that button, this just WORKS. It is never groundbreaking or that exciting of an outfit, but honestly? Those outfits are kind of the best because they are effortless, and that is what I crave this time of year. I also like adding on cute sandals, or wear a pretty lace bralette underneath to add interest.
Sizing details: This Old Navy slip dress is a size small and fits true to size. It looks pretty shapeless whenever I take a photo in it, but in person I find it more flattering. The sandals are also true to size, I can wear a 7.5 or an 8 and these are a size 8. I’ll tag a couple of other black dresses I own and love in the widget below!

Another Old Navy dress that is a newer purchase for me! I am a sucker for polka dots and I saw this in store and instantly fell in love. (I ordered it online though, during a sale and with Old Navy coupons. I rarely shop in there full price!) I find Old Navy’s dresses to be thinner and less lined than they used to be. This dress requires nude underwear for sure, but I felt fine in that. Looking at this now I would have paired this dress with a different pair of shoes, either my Sole Society espradrilles or my white Target sandals.
Sizing details: This dress is true to size, I am wearing a size small.

I rarely show workout clothes in this post because honestly? I wear almost all black mostly and the same things week after week, and it isn’t THAT exciting. But I do wear workout stuff 4-5 mornings a week from about 7am-11am, so this is a huge part of my life and wardrobe lol. I go to CrossFit and anything you do in there requires your clothes to be pretty functional, meaning you don’t want it to be too complicated or too precious, because it will get dirty, or get in the way. My workout drawer follows my Capsule Wardrobe system, I have a “uniform” and color palette that I stick to and I can mix and match it all. It works!
That being said, I ordered these shirts off of Amazon in a pack of 3 at the beginning of the Summer, and I have since ordered another pack of three. I just wear these tops right now and I love them! They are cool and comfortable, they wash really well, and I don’t have to baby them. I recently jumped on the “bike shorts” band wagon (for workouts) and I love them. These shorts have a 5″ length and stay put no matter what I do. They are not too short, not too long, and I love them. I also have these shorts that also fit really well. I hate workout shorts in general, but these two pairs have worked wonders for me, and kept me cool-ish this Summer.
Sizing details: I wear a size small in the Amazon tops and they fit great, not tight at all and they stay put (they don’t ride up a lot during burpees…) I like to size up in shorts for comfort. I wear a size medium in both the Outdoor Voices shorts and the Old Navy bike shorts.

A couple of weeks ago I went into Target to grab a notebook to journal in, saw this jumpsuit, and immediately had to try it on (my kids’ eyes were rolling haaaard at me.) I love jumpsuits, especially ones like this that can be styled casually and more dressed up. This one also feels exactly like pajamas! And it has pockets! I love it with simple sandals, and I think it would look so cute with cute strappy heels and a kimono.
Sizing details: I tried on the medium and the small in store, and the small was perfect. It has ample room in the hips and the legs, and the top fit well, too.

This top was another impulse buy from Target that I saw out of the corner of my eye and instantly snagged. I am having a leopard MOMENT, lately. I have this top, a bathng suit, two pairs of shoes, and I’m eyeing this Amazon sweatshirt as we speak…. I actually debated keeping this tank after I bought it, but asked you guys in an Insta story last week and and got an overwhelming response to keep it! I loved it styled with my beloved boyfriend jeans, and my studded sandals.
Sizing details: I sized up to a medium in this tank because I hate tight things, but the armholes do dip lower at that size, so I just wear a pretty bralette underneath! These jeans (which I am OBSESSED with!) are true to size, I am wearing a size 6. They go on tight, but loosen up considerably with wear!

That’s it! And I wanted to remind you in case you don’t follow me over on Insta (@meaganrigney)! I am doing a Capsule Wardrobe challenge in August where I am going to style a month’s worth of looks using my Simplified Closet system I created. It is going to be so much fun! I’ll share my looks Mon-Fri over in stories, and I have it all saved in my highlights, too. Come say HI!
P.S. I also have a FREE guide below on how to create a wardrobe of UNIFORMS, something I do and love (that has simplified my life SO MUCH!
