Good morning my friends! Happy Monday!
I am home from our trip to Florida and have been busy meal prepping for the week and getting alllllll the laundry done, and looking forward to settling back into our routine;) I am one of those people that really looks forward to Monday’s and new months….I love a fresh start!
Let’s get into my weekly looks! A lot of what I have been wearing is on sale, so that is fun! As always, you can shop each look via my Shop My Instagram page on my blog. I update that daily, and share a video of me wearing each look on IGTV on Monday’s at noon CST.
Also, a quick note…
* It takes a lot of time to research, link, and write detailed newsletters + posts, and I DO get a commission if you buy something from a link I give you. That being said, some stores are harder to get this commission from. I just ask, if you love something I suggest from Target or any in person store, I appreciate if you buy through a link I give you and either ship it to store or to your home. That is how I get paid! I appreciate any thing you can do to help me continue to create content for you that helps and inspires you!
Weekly Looks// November, Week 4
Okay so REAL TALK…I didn’t wear this outside my home because I would have died of heatstroke, BUT! I have been dying for one of these jackets forever, and it was 60% off. (It still is!) This jacket is uber cozy and even though I live in Alabama, I still hoard coats lol (maybe I’ll move back to Michigan next year!) This jacket does have a “fake” feeling to me, the fabric feels more polyester than other teddy coats I own, but I was okay with that. Just surprised I guess? I ordered a size small and it fits well, but if I were to wear heavier sweaters underneath I would size up one. And these boots are fun! An inexpensive Ugg find that work for chilly bus stops and car rider lines and Walmart runs… And I’ll talk about these amazing leggings below, they are on sale!
Okay, let’s chat these leggings! They are on sale this weekend and into Cyber Monday and are the only pair of leggings I wear (other than my Spanx faux leather leggings, which are also on sale!) I’ve had these for 4+ years and they look like new. They are high waisted, feel amazing on, and look awesome with casual looks. I wear a size small. Also, let’s discuss Barefoot Dream sweaters! These are the softest things you will ever OWN, I buy mine through QVC when they have deals, I’ll link them there so you can go see. They are true to size, I always wear the small!
Shop Barefoot Dreams on QVC HERE (so many great prices right now!)
One of my favorite outfits is a graphic tee and ripped mom jeans! I like to spice up the accessories, too, with leopard boots and a cute crossbody (30% off right now!) I also just grabbed these Old Navy jeans and they are AMAZING! They are twelve FREAKIN dollars right now…. I am wearing them as I type this, they are true to size!
One of my favorite and softest Target sweaters! I sized up to a large and I love the fit. This is so soft, I reach for it a couple of times a week. And these boots are the Lamo brand from QVC and are amazing! They are the same quality of Ugg for a fraction of the price.
You can shop Lamo at QVC HERE
When we were in Florida for Thanksgiving my in laws watched the kids so my husband and I could go on a date night! I’ve had this ruched dress for a couple of years and it is the best thing to wear. The ruching is really forgiving in the stomach area, and I love this black version because I can dress it up with heels or down with simpler shoes. I am wearing a small, which makes it pretty body concious, I have worn a medium as well (see below!) and that makes it a bit looser and longer. It just depends on your preference for fit!

Okay, let’s chat random gift ideas! So I have some #tricky people to buy for, only because they buy all they need and I just find it hard to shop for them! I have been scouring ideas from the internet and found some good stuff!
**The hardest right now are my kids. They are pretty much out of the toy stage and like mostly electronics, so it is a balance of electronic gifts I’m willing to buy them, and stuff to keep them creative!
For the hard to buy men in your life…
Yeti Rambler coozie (buying this for my dad! He likes a cold beer lol)
Thermal socks (sending these up for my Grampa who lives on a lake in New Hampshire)
Sous Vide cooker (I have no idea how to use this, but I am buying this for my husband who loves to cook!)
Apple airpods (I bought these for my husband last year and he uses them daily.)
For the tween girl…
Letterboard (I kinda want this myself…)
Ukelele (my daughter has been begging for one of these!)
Wrap bracelets (I have these and my daughter always wants to steal them.)
Vans slip ons sneakers (for the non girly girl on your life…mine hates pink and loves the skater look.)
For the tween boy…
Gravity maze (my son loves these, and will create stuff when I shut him off from electronics lol)
Kindle Fire (my son is getting one of these since he has a defective Kids Kindle…)
Foot ball throwing net (we have this and love it!)
For boys and girls…
Longboard (my daughter wants one of these this year!)
Laser Tag Set (for both, we have a bunch of neighborhood kids that come over daily and this looks awesome)
Hoverboard (I’m not getting this this year, but a ton of kids around us have and love them.)
Ipod touch (my compromise to my daughter over her not having a real phone yet. This does all of the things with an Apple id and wifi.)
Go Pro (this would be fun for older, creative + active kids!)
Echo dot (both of mine are getting one of these so they can play music and set alarms)
For the ladies in your life…
Makeup brush set (this is a gorgeous brush set that I may gift myself…)
Satin pillowcases (these are so good! I’m making a gift basket for my mom with fun self care items in it)
Slippers (these are all the rage right now!)
Wearable blanket (tell me this doesn’t look SO COMFORTABLE?!)
Accupressure mat (I lie on this everyday and it really feels so good!)
