I hope this weekend has been good to you! We had friends over for the Superbowl (though this New England gal was sad the Patriot’s weren’t in it….) I feel like we don’t do stuff like that enough with our busy lives now (kids + work + life you know?), but I am always happy when I make the effort. It is a beautiful day here where I live and I am crossing my fingers that we get the phone call that says where we are moving THIS WEEK. I’m dying to know!
Weekly Outfits//January Week 5
I’ve been documenting my daily looks on video each day over on Insatgram (@meaganrigney), and adding them into my Shop My Instagram page each day. You can click on each picture there and there are links to each piece I am wearing, and I always add several options for each piece if things are sold out or old!)
If you are looking for even more style inspo, I have a weekly style newsletter that goes out every Sunday and it is probably my favorite thing to write right now. Come join the fun!
* It takes a lot of time to research, link, and write detailed newsletters + posts, and I DO get a commission if you buy something from a link I give you. That being said, some stores are harder to get this commission from. I just ask, if you love something I suggest from Target, I appreciate if you buy through a link I give you and either ship it to store or to your home. That is how I get paid! I appreciate any thing you can do to help me continue to create content for you that helps and inspires you!
This is an outfit I rewear a lot! I love, love, love the ease of a fun graphic sweatshirt with jeans and slip on shoes. This outfit can be recreated with different pieces in so many ways, which makes it a great uniform, in my opinion. This exact sweatshirt is sold out, I also love this band one and this Mama one! I always size up in sweatshirts for a slouchy fit.
The EASIEST outfit ever, yes? When I am feeling not myself or not inspired, I reach for all black. This sweater is so good, I actually own it in gray, too! It is currently sold out, but the one I linked is the exact same shape (but in a cozier fabric.) I am wearing size small and it fits great. These are also my most wearable and comfortable jeans! I bought the curvy fit in my true size (28) and they feel just like leggings and hold their shape forever. They are a great basic to own in your closet.
You can sense a them here, right?! Just switching up the pieces in one of my daily uniforms. This skull sweatshirt is so good! I shop a lot at Dressed in Lala because she has unique pieces that she updates every Friday. Some of them go quick, so you have to jump on something if you love it. I size up one to a medium in most tops from there and I love the slouchy fit. And these are my second fave pair of jeans! I adore the color and fit so much, they give mom jean vibes without the often overdone look of actual 90’s mom jeans! They fit true to size and I think they are great quality! I highly recommend them.
I am pretty sure I wore this same outfit last week, except I own this top in white as well and wore it instead! I am a big fan of finding favorites and mixing and matching them into what you already love to wear. There is nothing wrong with wearing the same things over and over again if it makes you feel great! While I love graphic tops and tees, I also love a nuetral top that goes with everything. This top is so freakin soft and has an oversized fit (I’m in a size small.) I love how it looks half tucked into these jeans. I own it in two colors!
This sweater is so fun! I love the balloon sleeves and the black and white contrasting prints. I had a lunch date with a friend and I had been saving this sweater for a special occasion (since November…) and finally just decided to wear it. If we wait for “special occasions” we might never get to wear things we love. So wear that thing you have been saving!
QVC ring faves!
I spent some time in my Instastories last week sharing some of my favorite QVC rings. I have been wearing these rings for probably 10 years now and I rarely wear my real engagement ring. I just really like switching things up and wearing rings and jewelry that reflects my mood! Here a couple of pieces I own and love!
This is the ring I am wearing above! It is my newest and I love how eye catching it is. I have it in rose gold, which is a fun metal to wear. Part of what I love about QVC rings is that you can experiment with different metals and stone sizes/cuts without spending a ton of money.
I just ordered this emerald cut ring and can’t wait to get it in the mail!
This wedding set is really pretty! I love how the band curves to fit the engagement ring.
I wear these studs in my second and third piercing daily, and then gifted the bigger ones!
I have this eternity band and it is a showstopper.
