*Me: Sits on office floor in a jumpsuit + holds an iced coffee with llamas on it and feels cool, so takes a pic.
I was listening to a podcast on my walk the other morning and heard them talk about taking one tiny action towards a goal. I loved that. I know I want to run more, but it feels impossible to run 5+ miles like I used to. But! I can lace up my shoes and run 2 minutes. I can stop after that or keep going, but 2 minutes I can do. Or I have a dream to write a book, but that sounds daunting. However, I can write one sentence a day.
Do you have a goal? Can you break it down into the tiniest action ever? Basically the goal is to make it easy to win and consistency in following through with our word is the key to confidence.
Want to move your body more? Make a goal to lace up your sneakers you would wear.
Want to drink more water? Make a goal to drink one glass of water a day.
Want to read more? Promise you will read one sentence a day.
See? TINY ACTIONS. You want to make it crazy easy to win and feel good. I promise, these tiny actions will add up.
