I think that there is no secret that I have always wished for glasses. Real glasses, like so many seem to wear and I have never been able to.
Crazy?
Probably.
I was recently approached by GlassesUSA.com to see if I would like to feature them on my blog. My initial question was, can I wear a pair even if I don’t NEED them? The answer was yes! I was in heaven. I had every intention of getting a faux pair and rocking them as I have in the past. I have no shame in that.
In this process I decided to go get my eyes checked for the first time since, oh, 1986? Yikes. I went to the eye place in Target (I’m a multitasker!) and had myself a little exam and found out that I do need prescription glasses. Reading ones only, but we’ve gotta start somewhere, right? I checked out the selection at Target for a little comparison shopping and almost died when I found out the name brand pair I loved (which are IDENTICAL to the ones you see above) would be $170. That was with my insurance discount.
No bueno.
I took my prescription and (after a small detour to the shoe aisle) went to buy my glasses at GlassesUSA.com. It was pretty simple. I picked out the pair I liked (I’m partial to the vintage frames myself!) and just filled out the info on my prescription in the form below when ordering. So simple.
This Friday I saw the package on the doorstep and was blown away. They come in a really hefty case and the glasses themselves are good quality, not flimsy at all. I adore them.
So, long story short…if you need to buy glasses and appreciate things like a 110% lowest price guarantee and 100% customer satisfaction, I would go here. No brainer, right? You can also refer a friend for $30 off a pair of glasses for you.
Oh! And use the code Blog10 for 10% off an order. You’re welcome.
Now for something cool, GlassesUSA.com has a virtual mirror tool that helps you see what a pair of their glasses would look like on you!
P.S. This is a sponsored post, but I wanted to let you now I would NEVER post about anything I wouldn’t use myself or recommend to others.
