I’m currently sitting on my couch in the middle of the day. I’m wearing blue sweatpants and a paint stained long sleeve tee and QVC is playing in the background. It is quiet and serene, and a little weird to be honest. Two days a week both kids are at school all day and I have some time to myself. It’s all sorts of wonderful and life affirming and I find myself talking out loud as if they are here, yet no one answers. It’s so odd to have this time, (an abundance of time!) after almost six years of pure chaos and constant activity. You get used to being busy, you know? Now I have the time to sit, paint my nails without smudging them immediately, answer emails, write blog posts before 10 pm, shower alone, and eat a warm meal in one sitting. Simple, mundane activities that seem decadent after years of not having the time. The point, you ask? Oh yes! Now I can browse stores online and find inspiration and clothes that speak to me and scream, put me in your cart and buy me! I wasn’t sure what store I wanted to focus on this week and decided that Asos needed another moment in the spotlight here, because they really have great things and they ship fast and cheap. All winning combo’s in my book.
Let’s get started, shall we?
I love the color of this coral midi dress, and the long sleeves. Perfect with ankle boots by day or strappy heels at night.
Loving this flecked jersey swing dress, comfortable and cute at the same time. Again, it can be dressed up or down. I mean, who has time to buy clothes for one wear in life?
I also love the color of this short sleeved swing dress. I may be having a swing dress addiction?
A gorgeous, floral maxi skirt that looks so edgy paired with black.
This black ruffled top is distinctive enough to be worn on its own with anything, no need for crazy accessories or details. Simple and chic.
This looks like the comfiest top, ever.
A pack of stackable, thin gold rings. Perfect for adding on and edging up a look.
I need more color in my closet as it contains all black, white and grey right now. This red striped sweater has hearts on the elbows! I’m sort of a sucker for hearts.
Tell me, what have you been buying lately for Fall?
P.S. Any good plans this weekend? My kids start soccer for the first time on Saturday, I can’t wait to see them all dressed in their uniforms. They even have teeny, tiny cleats. Adore.
