This past week I was lucky enough to go on THREE awesome dates with my husband, because my mama was here to a) visit us and have fun, and b) babysit. (Bonus!) On our first date we got to dress up and drive in his Jeep (doors off, breeze blowing in, tunes blasting), to our favorite restaurant. There, it’s nothing but hushed quietness, amazing local wines, food that tastes so good you end up moaning a little (!), and beautiful candlelight. We got to try out different things on the menu and it is pure heaven. I had this Missguided jumpsuit on hand and, being a jumpsuit virgin, had sort of underestimated it’s versatility. It’s super soft and feels like yoga pants, yet with a bright belt and heels it worked well at a fancier place. Afterwards, I swapped out the heels for my gladiator sandals and we walked around downtown. I would wear this out and about with my kids as well, with sandals and a head scarf probably, and a large tote bag.
I tend to be pretty simple when I get dressed up. I don’t like a lot of fancy details, it feels overdone and not ME. Instead, I favor all black with daintier jewelry and brighter pops of colors, (or graphic stripes, like HERE, or a bright color, like HERE!) I don’t like to feel uncomfortable or like I need to pull and tug on various details, and that is what I loved about this jumpsuit. It was simple and chic and fun, perfect for my daily life. It also didn’t hurt that my husband loved it and made me feel all girly and butterfly-like when I came out in it;)
On a fun note, Missguided has been generous enough to send me two of these clutches, so I can give one to you! It is a bright, neon pink, and has a really pretty basket weave texture. I could fit my wallet, my iPhone, and my lipstick in it easily, with room to spare (which is rare in a clutch, right?)
