Jacket via QVC; Hunter boots; Free People tunic and ruffled layering tank; Old Navy jeans; Kendra Scott necklace (via Rocksbox!)
Most likely if you know me and see me during the day I am wearing a variation of this outfit. (Mama’s lazy, okay?) Skinny jeans, plus a long tunic with layers, plus ankle boots (or Hunter’s… it was sleeting yesterday!), plus a pretty necklace, equals one EASY PEASY outfit. I love longer length shirts and recently discovered that the ruffled tunic I used to only wear in the summer really looks good under all of my sweaters and longer tees.
You see, I hate wearing skinny jeans where you can see my upper thighs. It’s not that I hate my thighs or anything (but like most women, I’m not IN LOVE with them;), it’s that I feel my best in something floaty and loose and comfortable over my tight jeans. I still want to look cute, though! My inner bohemian wants ruffles and layers and flounce, and my Free People ruffled tank fits the bill. This white tunic I have was something I saved up for. I admired it from afar and finally bit the bullet last year and I have never regretted it. It is a year round top, and looks so fun under all my sweaters and longer tops! Some colors are currently on sale at Nordstrom right now, and I am picking up a similar version in black because I NEED IT. Ha.
Happy weekend, friends!
