I have this picture of me as a baby in my home office, where I can see it daily.
It’s a reminder, that this little innocent baby, with eyes full of wonder, doesn’t have to do anything or be anything to be loved.
She is enough as is.
She doesn’t have to wear a certain size, or weigh a certain number, she doesn’t have to hold a certain job or be perfect for the world.
Would you say some of the things you say in your head to your baby self? To a friend? To your daughter? Would you tell them that they should conform to what the world wants them to be, and to forget their dreams? Would you pick apart your flaws and spend a second of your time not loving yourself?
She just IS. Enough as is. She is YOU. She is valuable and everything she needs to be.
As are you.
